Guarding the 'Lair
Through all four seasons, the Mountaineer stands tall. This view of the Mountaineer statue near the Mountainlair entrance was captured by @sanketjoshi123 in the fall of 2015. It was featured on WVU's Instagram account.
Wonderful Woodburn
One of the most iconic backgrounds on campus just got a little more iconic with this Instagram submission from @missbiss1029. She snapped this image below Woodburn Hall in 2014.

Tranquil to the Core
What? You were expecting another downtown campus shot? Or something with a building?
One of the University's overlooked gems, the Core Arboretum, is 91 acres of walking trails and lush forests. Better yet, the Arboretum is free and easily accessible near the Coliseum. (WVU Photo)
Peeking at Purintan
Another historic building on the downtown campus is the colonial-style Purintan House. In 1911, President William Taft delivered the address "World Wide Speech" from the front porch. Hopefully he had some fabulous fall foliage like this to gaze at. (WVU Photo)
How You Know it's Really Fall
It's not fall without WVU football. University photographer Brian Persinger captured this "Stripe the Stadium" shot at Milan Puskar Stadium on a 2015 October evening before the Mountaineers hosted Oklahoma State. Don't ask who won the game.
